Jordan High School

The project was performed on an occupied campus and is a continuation of multiple phases over the last ten years for the Long Beach Unified School District. Demolition of outdated 42,000 SF building space along with deep soil mixing and a matt slab foundation were key components of this very challenging project. The new state of the art building includes 31,500 SF of classrooms, computer labs, and specialty labs that match the previously constructed phases, so the 90-year-old campus has a new and up to date look that allows for 21st century learning. Site upgrades included a new lunch shelter, with site work and related infrastructure. The overall project was $28.3M (Opened Fall, 2023)
